πŸ“Œ Blair Atholl, Perth & Kinross
β˜…β˜…

The Atholl Country Life Museum tends to be overshadowed by two much better known tourist destinations nearby – Blair Castle and the House of Bruar – but it’s well worth visiting. The vast Athol region is placed right at the centre of the Scottish Highlands, with extensive and remote upland areas punctuated by the Garry, Tummmel and Tay rivers, and is thus home to a wide variety of wildlife and pastimes; this along with farming, blacksmithing, estate work, religion and education all get a mention. There’s also a charming, restored post office, transplanted from the village of Trinafour in Glen Errochty.
