The Old Haa is a former merchant’s house in Burravoe village at the quiet southeast tip of Yell – several miles from the main road connecting the island’s two ferry terminals and therefore missed by most tourists. The attractive, whitewashed building is now a museum documenting the island’s interesting culture and history, including a detailed account of the 1926 Bohus shipwreck disaster. There’s a pretty garden at the back too!
