πŸ“Œ Birnam, Perth & Kinross
β˜…β˜…

Beatrix Potter is an author and illustrator mostly associated with the English Lake District, however many of her childhood summers were spent in around Dalguise, just up the River Tay from Dunkeld and Birnam. The fancy Birnam Arts & Conference Centre has a small exhibition dedicated to the writer, with an attached garden containing characters from her books; Peter Rabbit, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and Mr Jeremy Fisher all feature, and all are believed to have their origins in Perthshire. A worthwhile visit for children and adults alike.
